dirdiff software package provides Display and merge changes between two directory trees, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dirdiff
dirdiff is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dirdiff package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dirdiff *
You will get with dirdiff package name, version, architecture and description in a table
